Start from Abbesses metro station (marker 1 on map below) on line 12. Enjoy rue des Abbesses, its atmosphere, its many Parisian shops and cafés (2).
Continue to Bateau lavoir (3), its memories of Picasso and other great painters who lived there. Head off to Moulin de la Galette lovely windmill (4).
