Paris amusement parks for children

Paris has two world class amusement parks. The best known is Disneyland Paris. You could stay there a few days and visit Paris from there.

Parc Asterix, the second world class theme park near Paris, has shorter queues and a French touch. 

In Paris, you can go to Jardin d'acclimatation, a smalller amusement park fit for young children.

Museums in Paris for children

In Paris, visit the Grevin Wax Museum. The museum is funny with its magic tricks and deforming mirrors.

Children love the Air and Space Museum near Paris, Paris Technology Museum,  the Natural History Museum with its dinosaurs and the Doll Museum.

Go with your children to fantastic Louvre Museum and Centre Pompidou. They will be stimulated.

Sightseeing in Paris with kids

Go on a Seine river cruise. Use the funny Open tour double deckers to see Paris and her main sights. Even better, visit Paris on an electric Trikke  or on a Segway transporter, a memorable experience.

Walk up the stairs with your children to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. It's quite feasible. Board the Ferris wheel on Place de la Concorde. Your children will love the spectacular experience and Paris view.

Fun places in Paris for kids

Close to Paris, go to Thoiry African Reserve, a safari park combined with a nice French castle.

The puppet shows in Luxembourg Gardens (11am and 3pm everyday) are great with young children. Ask for "Le Guignol". You could also go to a movie theater, specially La Geode in Parc de La Villette.

A day at Aquaboulevard Water Park will complete the programme in Paris for children.

Shopping in Paris with kids

Buy toys at lovely Passage des Princes and its many typically french toy stores. Si tu veux, not far away, at Galerie Vivienne, is also a lovely toy store.

With their stores and restaurants, Paris Shopping Malls are good places to shop with children in Paris.
