Fun places to go in Paris with children

Paris is known as a great city for adults: sightseeing, monuments, museums, restaurants and shopping .

This is not well known, but Paris can be a lot of fun too if you come with your children. Here are a few fun places to go to with children in Paris.

 First, Paris has two world class theme parks. The largest and best known park is Disneyland Paris. You could stay there a few days and visit Paris from there.

Don't skip the other world class theme park: Park Asterix close to Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Both theme parks are fun places with children and well worth a visit to Paris by adults and children.

In Paris downtown, you could visit the Grevin Wax Museum. The museum is funny with its magic tricks and deforming mirrors. Children have fun there.

The Cite des Sciences (Paris Science Museum) in La Villette is a lot of fun for serious children.

Children will also love the spectacular Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget Airport near Paris and the lovely Doll museum near Centre Pompidou in downtown Paris.

A day of fun at Aquaboulevard will complete the programme for children and adults. Aquaboulevard has very nice waterslides and swimming pools.

The puppet show in Luxembourg Gardens at 11am and 3pm everyday are an excellent idea with young children. Ask for them in Luxembourg Gardens.

Walk up the stairs with your children to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. It’s feasible. Your children will forever remember that spectacular climb and view.

If you visit Versailles, don't miss near-by Thoiry African Reserve, a safari park that is a lot of fun with children.
