The Paris Rodin
Museum
(Musee Rodin in French) is housed
in a lovely 18th century private palace, very close to the Invalides military hospital in Paris. It displays a
large first class collection of Rodin's sculpture.
Auguste Rodin was a French sculptor and lived
during the 19th century. He brought freshness and vigor to the very academic art of that
time.
Among his many great works displayed in the museum, the hell's
gates, the Calais burgers (right) and the thinker are stunning pieces of art.
