The African Reserve, as it is called, can be visited in your car. It is open everyday from 10 am to 5 or 6pm depending on the day and the season.

From Paris, take the A13 freeway, then the A12 and the N12 towards Dreux. At Pontchartrain, take the D11 towards Thoiry. You can combine Thoiry with Versailles and stay overnight in Versailles.
