The Parc des Princes sports stadium in Paris

The Parc des Princes stadium is located on the edge of Bois de Boulogne in Paris. The French rugby and soccer cups finals were played there until the Stade de France was built for the France 1998 soccer world cup. The Parc des Princes is also the home stadium of the PSG (Paris Saint-Germain), the Paris soccer team.

The Parc des Princes hosted a number of games of the France 98 soccer world cup including the breathtaking semi-final between Brazil and the Netherlands which ended with a victory of Brazil.

 It just hosted some games of the Rugby 2007 world cup with a victory of Argentina over France on October 19th

The Parc des Princes can accomodate 45 000 spectators and remains the third largest French stadium behind the Stade de France near Paris and the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille. PSG tickets can be booked at 33 (0)1 49 87 29  29.
