| The Paris International Marathon traditionally takes place
in
April. Around 30 000 runners participate to this great city marathon and
Parisian event.
It kicks off on the
Champs
Elysées, goes along the
Louvre on its way to Bois
de Vincennes and passes alongside the Seine river
left
banks, the Eiffel
tower and the Bois
de Boulogne on its way to the arrival on Avenue
Foch.
An excellent way to combine sports and a Paris visit that we
really recommend if you are fit.

are on the Paris International Marathon web site.
Participate to the 33rd edition of the
Paris International Marathon in April 2009. Remember the competition is open to
professionals and amateurs alike.
If you come to Paris in March, you can participate to the
Paris
semi-marathon on March 2nd. In October, you can also participate
to the Paris 20 kilometers.
Two great Paris races that are a lot easier than the full marathon.
