Moulin de la Galette in Montmartre

The Moulin de la Galette is a lovely windmill near the top of the typical Montmartre hill in Paris.

It has been painted many times by artists such as Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec,  Vincent van Gogh, Maurice Utrillo and Pablo Picasso.

At that time, the Moulin de la Galette was a famous guinguette, a name for popular dancing restaurants. It is now a lovely restaurant in the heart of Montmartre.
