Visit Grand Canal in Versailles Park

The 1670 meters long Grand Canal was created by Andre Le Notre, the gardener of King Louis XIV. The works took from 1668 to 1679 to complete.

The Grand Canal was the setting for numerous nautical spectacles during the reign of Louis XIV.

Today, you can row on the Grand Canal, jogg around it or have a drink at La Flotille restaurant.
