Looking for atmosphere. Go to a typical Paris food market or to Paris flea market for antiques. Walk along the Seine river banks and buy books and old Paris prints at the "Bouquinistes" outdoor quay shops.

Paris has many small shops selling everything from everywhere in the world. Walk around the city and you will find plenty interesting shops.

Some streets are specialized: the trendy rue des Francs-Bourgeois near Place des Vosges specializes in fashion and decoration.

The high-end rue de Seine, rue Jacob and rue du Bac near Orsay museum in Saint-Germain des Prés are specialized in art and antiques.

The rue de Rome near Saint-Lazare station is specialized in music instruments.

You will also no doubt want to bring back home fine food from France. Look at our shop selection in this category.
