scarf

Hi, I am an architect and practising Islam as a religion. I wear scarf on my head (not a burqa whihc covers the face). I will be attending conference in Paris and Strasbourg. I wonder whether it is safe for me to wear my scarf ie covering my hair and walking about in Paris. thanks for your feedback. I find this Forum very helpful.

Salmah, it is hard to be definitive on any such subject and state something will never happen, but we would be very surprised if you run into any trouble wearing a scarf in France. Many muslim people do it daily on the street. You are most welcome. Have a great stay and conference in France.
