Paris in May

My friends and I are planning our trip to Paris from May 1, 2009 through May 10th. Is this a good time to be in Paris? Thanks for your input.

Early May is certainly a very good time to be in Paris. The weather, although always unpredictable, should be good. It's spring in the gardens. City life is very active compared to summer time. Pay attention: May 1st (labor day) and 8th (end of world war II) are holidays.
