Orangerie   Edith from hungary   17:20   September 27, 2010
Bon jour to everyone,
My firend and I are pallning to visit paris in October. We are great impressionist fans and saw that D-orsay and Marmottan museeums have collections.
Some years ago when my parents visited there was a collection in the JEU de Pommes and the other in the Orangerie/Water lillies of Monet/
I tired to search for info about the Orangerie and next to it JEU de Pommes, but can find nothing.
Could you help ?

Thanks a lot and have a nice day, we can hardly wait to get there....

Hello Edith, first of all congratulations for your trip to Paris. It is indeed the right time to come to Paris to see the most amazing Monet exhibitions ever staged. First, the Grand Palais Monet exhibition. It is planned to be a huge success. You won't get in if you don't buy your ticket in advance. See their website. Marmottan will be easier to get in. Nevertheless, expect queues. You will find the famous waterlilies at Orangerie. Jeu de Paume is now a photography museum. Most of these venues are near Champs Elysees. Enjoy your Paris trip.
