Markets in Paris   pauline Fisher from England   17:51   November 18, 2008

I am taking a group of carers on a day trip ton paris. Could anyone tell me where the nearest market near the Eurostar train station and what are prices like are they reasonable?

What restaurants are near by that are reasonable?

Are there any reasonable chinese and caribbean restaurants?

Thank you.

The large and typically Parisian Marché couvert St-Quentin has affordable prices. It is within walking distance of Gare du Nord. Open Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 1pm, 4pm to 7.30pm, Saturday, 9am to 1pm, 3pm to 7.30pm, Sunday, 8.30am to 1.30pm. Address 85, boulevard Magenta. Metro Gare de l’Est. We also recommend Boua Thai restaurant near-by. See http://www.parisdigest.com/menus/restaurants-affordable.htm. Enjoy your Paris stay.
