Paris is very actively participating to the National heritage days on September 21st and 22nd. An amazing amount of great and secret buildings will be open to the public. Well known places as the Elysées palace will have people waiting in line for hours. Many other interesting places will be easy to get in. Just walk around and seize opportunities. The weather should be OK for a great walk through Paris anyway.
