Giverny restaurant

Giverny restaurant   Paris Digest from France   22:34   May 18, 2011
We went today to the Moulin de Fourges restaurant near Giverny. The restaurant occupies an old water mill in a lovely and very quiet valley of Normandy 90 minutes from Paris by car. We had lunch on the sunny terrace alongside the river. The service was very friendly . We took the 3 course menu for 35 euros and it was good (the two course menu costs 25 euros). After lunch, we drove 15 minutes back to the house of Monet in Giverny which we visited. All in all a fantastic and very relaxing afternoon. ParisVision includes a lunch at Moulin de Fourges in their Giverny Versailles one day tour. Certainly a good idea and a great tour altogether.
