In Time square new York there is a kiosk where tickets for theater performance on the day are available at a reduced price. Is there such a service available in Paris ?

Peter, there are indeed two kiosks selling last minute tickets, from 12.30am to 8pm from Tuesday to Saturday and 12.30am to 4pm on Sunday. The first kiosk is place de la Madeleine (opposite the Hédiard shop. The second kiosk is just in front of the Montparnasse train station pedestrian entrance. Have a great stay in Paris.

You can buy last minute tickets for the opera and ballet directly at the opera house, same day. Call them to get the precise timing. Enjoy your stay in Paris.
