I understand there is a bus service connecting all the monument sites, where you can ride and drop off at your will, and can buy a three to five day pass for such service. Do you know the bus service

The bus or metro systems are both accessible to all the big sites in Paris. You just ask the bus driver what stop you get off for the site you want to see. The metro, ask what stop to get off when you buy your ticket.
