We went for lunch today at La Coupole in Montparnasse. Much is said about this renowned Paris brasserie that was quite famous in the 1930ies when Hemingway and Picasso were regular customers. The interior is spectacular: the 1000 m2 restaurant room, its painted pillars and cupola are beautiful. The restaurant is at the same time quiet and very busy, urban and confortable. The waiters are friendly and service is fast. The food is traditional French brasserie food with much from the sea. The prices are quite reasonable as the 30 euro menu is always served. One of the best parisian experience of food, beauty and city life combined. See our selection of
beautiful restaurants.
