Joni, Sorques is around 700km from Paris. Fortunately, Sorques is also a few kilometers from Avignon and its TGV train station. Go to the TGV station by car or taxi and take an early train (book tickets at http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-998028-10357859 ). You will be in Paris 2 hours 40 minutes later. Take a late train back. The journey is going to be relaxing and you can have a full day in Paris. Enjoy your stay in France.

are you sure you have that right, its Sorques, not Sorgues, Sorques is near Fontainebleau and Montigny-sur-loing please respond. Thank you

Hi Joni,that is quite strange.Google Maps directed me to Sorgues when I typed in Sorques.Anyway, they are trains from Montigny sur Loing,the next village after Sorques, to Paris. The journey is 51 minutes. Have a look at http://www.transilien.com/web/site/lang/en .
